DOS2:Fort Joy Caverns
More actions
Fort Joy Caverns is a location in Fort Joy Ghetto in Divinity: Original Sin II.
Overview
Fort Joy Caverns is the gathering site for many elves attempting to avoid hostile humans, especially those aligned with
Camp Boss Griff. The cave can be divided into three general regions consisting of the entrance, rear, and fort.
Entrance
The entrance area is an established campsite frequented by Sourcerers. There is a hidden stone hatch leading to the Forgotten Cell, which the party can identify and unearth using a shovel. Alternatively,
Mody introduces the party to the hatch after two rounds of playing hide-and-seek.
Rear
Several barricades delineate the border between the front and rear sections of the cave. If travelling past the Poison puddles and approaching the remains of a melted dwarf, three amphibians ambush the party from elevations along both sides of the passage. It is possible to retrieve the
Shovel at X: 497 Y: 498 without triggering combat.
Fort
The fort, which is also named Mody's Playhouse or Mody's Place, is slightly past the barriers and can be accessed using
Teleportation near X: 486 Y: 520 . A signpost proclaims the message: Mody's Place. NO grownups ALLOWED! (Except heroes), referencing his ongoing work
The Adventures of the Hero. 300 XP is gained upon reaching this area.
