Most Dangerous When Cornered is a quest in Act One of Divinity: Original Sin II. It is initiated by speaking with Han and Samadel in Amadia's Sanctuary or by entering the Ruined Castle.

Note: Completing this quest before Healing Touch causes Jules, Klaud, and Matis to die.

Objectives

Walkthrough

The first encounter upon entering the Ruined Castle are four Magisters in the courtyard. Defeating each in combat results in 1200 xp, totalling 4800. Northbound is a room with another four Magisters surrounding Gareth who is hiding behind the 'Hollow Marshes - Ruined Castle' waypoint at   X: 468  Y: 371  . Defeating these four give a total of 5300 xp, and an additional 3000 xp after combat for successfully rescuing Gareth.
