The House of War is one of the three major houses of the Ancient Empire in Divinity: Original Sin II. Its power is largely counterbalanced by House of Law while the House of Dreams tends to their own affairs, avoiding the political tussles between them.

'Hallowed is the House of War.'

Overview

True to its name, the House of War is known for violent aggression and widespread influence, tempered only by the House of Law in reigning back its power. Across Rivellon, its noble families are infamous for enslaving through conquest. Although such practices were recently abandoned among lizards, many in the House of War continue to enslave other races, who are considered 'fair game' to live a life of servitude. Nonetheless, the balance of Houses ensure a precarious peace in lizard society, disrupted only by the occasional need to resolve rivalries through blood or diplomacy.
