Walkthrough
Goemoe is treating
Simon who sustained severe injuries from an orc attack. Despite Simon's critical condition, Goemoe cannot cure him because the village lost connection with the Source which amplifies their healing abilities. The only solution is to offer Simon the last healing gem from the shrine, but doing so condemns
Otho's patient
Verlat to death. Neither Goemoe nor Otho can cause the death of either patient, even if it means saving the other.
To save both patients, the player character must retrieve a magic mirror from the abandoned house and obtain the gem from the shrine. The gem can be duplicated at the pool of water east of George's house. First, drop the mirror into the water (by dragging it from the inventory screen into the water). Then, drop the healing gem into the water. Two healing gems spawn in the water, which can be offered to both Simon and Verlat.
To obtain quest rewards, both patients must be healed first. The player character can then inform Goemoe and Otho that both patients made a full recovery. Otherwise, if informing Goemoe and Otho that only one patient is healed, the player character may be locked out of the dialogue option to tell them that both patients are healed.
Quest rewards
