Well met, stranger! Hugh Dellabaere, at your service! I used to be a fine tailor before I moved to the farmlands. How can I help you?—Hugh Dellabaere
Hugh Dellabaere lives with his partner
Elli in the Farmlands.
Involvement
Farmlands
Before arriving in the Farmlands, Hugh tailored for most noble families in Verdistis. He travelled extensively and learned about different races, especially orcs, elves and dwarves. During his tailoring career, one of Hugh's clients threatened to call the Assassin's Guild on his head if he didn't "tailor" just for her. Hugh secretly moved from Verdistis to the Farmlands, where he met Elli while building the farm that would later become their home.
Recently, the Farmlands were afflicted by a strange sickness to their cornfields, which quickly spread to other crops. The farmers and village elders cannot find the cause. Hugh explains that if the farmers cannot find a solution soon, everyone must move to Rivertown to survive the upcoming winter.
If asking about Hugh's concerns on a war, Hugh explains that the Ducal Army plans to attack the orcs gathering to the southeast before they invade. Hugh doesn't know why the orcs would wage war because the clans tend to fight amongst themselves in honour feuds. If they are gathering, it means they resolved their differences to attack. Hugh is skeptical of rumours that the orcs will enslave other races and loot the duke's treasures.
