The Purged Dragon is a quest in Divinity: Original Sin II. This quest is initiated upon interacting with 
Slane, the winter dragon.
Objectives
Free the Winter Dragon.

Walkthrough
Once you interact with Slane at X: 578 Y: 160 , you will find that he cannot talk to you until you break the chains or totems. Break the two totems and talk to Slane. He will reveal that he needs Radeka's Purging Wand as she used it to steal his source and capture him. To obtain the wand, go to the 'Hollow Marshes - Dragon's Beach' waypoint found at X: 582 Y: 103 and enter the skull-looking cavern at X: 588 Y: 96 .
Inside the cavern, 
Radeka can be found harvesting blood roses. By either stealing it from her body or upon initiating combat, Radeka's Thorn can be looted off of her body.
Note: If fighting Radeka, be prepared for her to summon various beetles and undead enemies.
Return 
Radeka's Thorn to Slane for 2100 xp or keep it, which initiates combat. If you defeat him, you recieve 6000 xp and retain Radeka's Thorn.
