Objectives

Find the entrance to the vault.
  • A raid on an ancient vault ended badly for the thief who'd planned it. Perhaps we might succeed where they failed.
Carefully explore the cavern.
  • We entered a large and potentially dangerous cavern.
Deal with Trompdoy.
  • The abrasive Trompdoy mocked and threatened us.
Explore Trompdoy's cavern.
  • We killed Trompdoy.
Deal with Trompdoy's Soul Jar.
  • Trompdoy returned and is trapped here until his Soul Jar is destroyed.
Quest complete.
  • We absorbed the contents of Trompdoy's Soul Jar.

Walkthrough

Magilla's Journal is retrieved from Magilla's corpse near the Saltwater Crocodiles, which are on the western shoreline of Fort Joy Ghetto at   X: 120  Y: 226  .

Entering the Hidden Cavern at   X: 514  Y: 71   advances this quest. Inside, Trompdoy is near 3 trapped crates, insulting the player character. A hidden path to the west leads to another encounter with Trompdoy, which is now hostile.
