The Cursed Ring is a quest in Divinity: Original Sin II. It is part of the chronicle Escape from Reaper's Eye.

Objectives

Quest content may vary based on party choices.

Wear the ring.
Trompdoy's ring gave me a jolt. I get the feeling it wants to be worn.

Remove Trompdoy's cursed ring.
I donned Trompdoy's ring and it cursed me.

Get someone else to wear the ring.
Removing the ring did nothing. I must find it a new host.

Quest completed.
The ring's curse was lifted. I'd best not wear it again. We ventured on, leaving the ring behind.

Walkthrough

After defeating Trompdoy in the Dark Cavern, the Band of Braccus can be found on his body. It itches to be worn, but it is not recommended to wear it unless a character in the party has learned Bless. Upon wearing the ring, the character gains a permanent Cursed status. The only way to cure it is by blessing the character wearing the ring.

Tutorial

1. Defeat Trompdoy
2. Loot the Band of Braccus
3. Wear the ring if you have the Bless skill
4. Use Bless to remove the ring
