Murtof is one of the magisters herding sourcerers aboard The Merryweather to Fort Joy in Divinity: Original Sin II. He is found on the second floor of the ship, next to magister Ricks (coords: x80, y193).
Upon entering the room, you must pass a persuasion check, else you will enter combat with the two, both starting at half HP.
Easter Egg
On magister Priest Medwyn's body found at (coords: x25, y177) on the second floor of the ship, a letter addressed to Murtof from Captain Kalwyn can be found warning him and Ricks of deathfog barrels locked in a storage room.
