DOS2:Death Belowdecks

Death Belowdecks is a quest in Divinity: Original Sin II. It is initiated by speaking with Magister Waters on The Merryweather.

Walkthrough

If the player character is an elf, they can sneak behind Magister Waters to steal a piece of Finn's corpse. Upon consumption, Finn's memories reveal an old woman approaching him, which can be relayed to Waters.

Otherwise, the player character can interact with Payde to gain entry to the stern. Inside, several Magisters interrogate Windego, who confesses to murdering Finn before killing the nearby Reds and knocking the player character unconscious.
