In life, Sylvena hired Template:Icon DD as her bodyguard. While travelling to Verdistis, a group of bandits attacked but Gregar fled from cowardice. The bandits robbed her and drove a sword through her. As Sylvena lay dying, Gregar eventually returned to the scene. With her dying breath, she cursed him for fleeing and ordered him to stand vigilance over her statue even in death, only to be released when he finds another to protect in the way she expected of him that day.
