I have often wondered how Trim Daedalus, a once noble and righteous man, could fall from standing to become one of the most feared and cruel practitioners of the Assassin's art. But there is one thing I do know. Trim Daedalus did fall in love with a young girl from the farmlands, though her name escapes me, but the farmers still remember her. She was besotted with Trim and loved him dearly but she deceived him by surrendering her virginity to a rich merchant prince from the south. It is said that perhaps this event grievously marked Trim and is likely the cause behind his undertaking of the dark arts. |
