Blake grew up with little food and shelter. By the time he turned ten, his entire family died of disease and starvation. At twelve, a blacksmith accepted him as an apprentice. Blake eventually made enough money to purchase a shop in Rivertown market. He donates one third of customer purchases.
Blake's enslaved ancestor stole a key while toiling to create Nericon's Garden. If the player character has sufficient reputation, Blake offers them the key. Otherwise, Blake marks the garden on a map, stating he will only sell the key to someone of good reputation.
