The Murderous Gheist is a quest in Act One of Divinity: Original Sin II. It overlaps with Escape from Fort Joy and its sub-quest The Path of Greatest Resistance. All quests are part of the chronicle Escape from Reaper's Eye.

Objectives

Find the sourcerer Migo.
We met magister Yarrow. She's desperately searching for a sourcerer named Migo.

Learn about the creature.
The bloody corpses at his feet suggest it may be wise to give the strange figure plenty of space. If killing Migo: The Gheist at the beach is dead.

Learn more about Migo.
Migo the Gheist gave us his ring. A yarrow flower calmed the gheist.

Follow Yarrow to her father Migo.
We gave Yarrow Migo's ring and told her what we know. Migo is her father - the Magisters have done something terrible to him.

Quest complete.
Yarrow gratefully reunited with Migo. Even in his madness, he recognised his daughter.

Walkthrough

Migo is consuming corpses in Fort Joy Ghetto near   X: 252  Y: 79  . If offering him a Yarrow Flower, he provides the player character Migo's Ring. The ring can be given to Magister Yarrow near the entrance of Fort Joy at   X: 185  Y: 195  . She accepts the ring and rushes to Migo. Return to Migo's location to speak with Yarrow, completing the quest.
