Aleroth Catacombs consist of five levels of sprawling tunnels beneath Aleroth.
Overview
The catacombs are a large cavern system beneath Aleroth. Although most of its tunnels are natural, some areas appear shaped by ancient dwarf-working. Sometime before Divine Divinity, several explorers ventured into the caverns only to lose half a dozen men. Template:Icon DD himself entered the catacombs alone but upon returning to the surface, he sealed the entrance and warned others of evil emanations from below. Template:Icon DD suspects the catacombs hold the answer to cure Mardaneus' insanity.
To enter the catacombs, the dragon statues must be rotated to face north.
