Lanilor is a kind friend to 
Mardaneus during his insanity. However, during one of their walks, Mardaneus mistakes Lanilor for 
Thelyron and freezes Lanilor in ice. If rescuing Lanilor, he offers the player character a teleporter pyramid in appreciation.
If interacting with Lanilor during 
Find a Solution to the Plague Problem in Rivertown, he marks File:Icon DD General Alix.png General Alix's location on the player character's map.
Attitude
After completing the quest Rescue Lanilor the Elf from his Icy Prison, his attitude toward the player character increases +50. If asking if he is all right, Lanilor's attitude increases by another +10.
