Dragon Statues is a location near the centre of Aleroth, where four statues surround a monument of
Mardaneus.
Overview

Mardaneus' monument conceals a secret entrance to Aleroth Catacombs. Sometime before Divine Divinity, several explorers ventured below only for half a dozen to be lost. Mardaneus himself entered the caverns alone, but returned to the surface warning of evil emanations underground, and sealed the entrance to prevent others from wandering its depths.
To enter the catacombs, the four dragon statues must be rotated to face north, which causes Mardaneus' statue to levitate into the air. Upon unlocking the entrance,
Lanilor presents the player character with a teleporter pyramid, suggesting them to recover its counterpart.
