The Abandoned Camp is in the Hollow Marshes during Act One of Divinity: Original Sin II.
Overview
Formerly a campground for Seekers of the Divine Order, the Magisters ambushed the site, causing them to flee to Amadia's Sanctuary. Seekers who were captured by Magisters were trussed to a cross, forced to transform into Shriekers.
In Amadia's Sanctuary, informing 
Gareth of the party's 
Purging Wand causes him to relocate to the Ambushed Camp with most Seekers, where they scheme a counterattack against the Magisters.
