"Well met, stranger! Hugh Dellabaere, at your service! I used to be a fine tailor before I moved to the farmlands. How can I help you?"
—Hugh Dellabaere

Background

Hugh was previously a tailor for Verdistis nobility. After one of his clients threatened to hire the Assassin's Guild if he didn't "tailor" just for her, Hugh secretly moved to the Farmlands, where he met Elli while building their future farm.

Involvement

Farmlands

During extensive travels as a tailor, Hugh learned about different races, especially orcs, elves and dwarves. If asking whether he is concerned about a war, Hugh explains that the Ducal Army is planning to attack the orcs gathering in the southeast before they invade. However, he doesn't know why the orcs would wage war because the clans tend to fight amongst themselves in honour feuds. He believes if the orcs are gathering, it means they resolved their differences, but he is skeptical of rumours that orcs will enslave other races and loot the duke's treasures.

Hugh is more concerned about the crop affliction in the Farmlands. If the farmers and village elders cannot find a solution soon, Hugh believes everyone must move to Rivertown to survive the winter.
