Richard was investigating the Duke's death at Stormfist Castle. Despite reports that he died of a heart attack, Richard believes something else caused his death. After learning about the investigation, Duke Janus hired the Assassin's Guild to dispose of the soldier, causing Richard to hide in the Farmlands.
If killing the assassin
