Hidden Alcove is a location on Reaper's Eye in Act One of Divinity: Original Sin II. It is located next to Fort Joy Beach, which is where the player character initially awakens after the Merryweather crash. The site consists of a lower and upper level.

Overview

Lower level

The entrance to the Hidden Alcove is obscured by hanging vines. It is accessed via Fort Joy Beach at   X: 243  Y: 256  . Upon entering the area, Fane attempts to pillage the face of a human corpse, but is unsuccessful. He can be recruited to join the party.

Upper level

The upper level of the Hidden Alcove is accessed by climbing vines at   X: 275  Y: 282  , but the path is blocked by a Poison surface. Although usually hazardous, Undead such as Fane can safely cross Poisonous areas, recovering Vitality in the process. On the upper level, Coral and Unnis await Atusa, a Magister who promised to rendezvous with them to escape. Reaching this area grants 300 XP.
