Aleroth Catacombs consist of five levels of sprawling tunnels beneath Aleroth.
Divine Divinity
The catacombs are a large cavern system beneath Aleroth. Although most of the tunnels are natural, some regions appear shaped by ancient dwarf-working. Sometime before Divine Divinity, several explorers ventured into the caverns only to lose half a dozen men.
Mardaneus himself entered the catacombs alone but upon returning to the surface, he sealed the entrance and warned others of evil emanations arising from below.
